Lucille von Leuna is a beautiful 16 month old Shepherd mix who has been described as a dream dog.  Besides being housebroken, this girl is quick to learn just about anything because she wants to please you.  She is boundary-trained so will not enter a room that is off limits and she will not jump on furniture unless invited.  Lucille loves to go with you anywhere -- car, walking, running -- and will settle down right away once you get back home.  She is alert and notices everything, keeping an eye on everyone in her  home and being somewhat aloof towards outsiders, though she will greet them.  She’s okay with other dogs who are calm and non-pushy.  Sometimes goofy and sometimes serious. Lucille is a sensitive soul who wants to please you but also requires respect.  She will do best with an experienced dog-owner who provides leadership, lest she assume the position as head of the household.  Our special girl is looking for an equally-special family, either in or out-of-state.
